Reflection Task 3

Hi Folks…

My candidate for this year’s person is Alexsandro de Souza, an exact professional and master of his field. He was born in Curitiba, Brazil. Alex, who attracts all attention with his football all over the world, has been pursuing his distinguished career for 19 years. He established a lot of records in this process, as well. I want to share his characteristics which will provide him to be person of the year apart from his football. Alex also has been playing a connective role between governments of Brazil and Turkey with his participation to the meetings of political leaders. His contributions such as granting some aid for schools or taking part at matches which were played for providing supplement for poor people shows obviously how responsible to the society he is. Furthermore, he has been such a respected person in Turkey that almost all supporters of rival teams have positive feelings about him, his family and his style. His great talent and personality has been influencing a lot of young players, too. As we know, the importance and attention given him have sprung to life within a sculpture which was the first work of art created for an active-player in Turkey. 

Ultimately, the world should be proud of hosting such a great man…

Reflection Task 2

I think sport is one of the most essential habits for a beautiful life. It has various benefits for each age group. Moreover, it can be done everytime and everywhere. First of all, one of the main conditions of being healthy person is absolutely sport, because the possibility of being sick is usually higher for dormant people than sporty ones. That is, the more you do sport, the more you will be satisfied at this world. Secondly, it helps people or countries to establish good relationships with one another. There is a wonderful example of it: The Olympic Games. A lot of countries participate in these games, and people from different countries or cultures meet with one another. Additionally, of course, these countries want to achieve success at the end of these games.

As for our country, Turkey has raised the bar of success in the games recently. Moreover, we missed the chance of hosting 2020 Olympic Games at the eleventh hour. However, when we look at the news about the last events of doping, unfortunately, we are in a poor condition. We should be aware of advances in technology, and use them efficiently. We should take deterrent precautions in order to get rid of this situation. Besides, we had better attach more importance to youth system of each branch of sport if we want to be an outstanding country all over the world. In conclusion, in my opinion, everybody should do sport accurately so that there will not be enough time to start a bad addiction.

Reflection Task 1

Hello everbody… I want to inform you about my life and experiences as a first serious task for my blog at the same time.

I am from Denizli which is famous for Pamukkale. There is also an illustrious phrase: Denizli’s girls,dust and especially rooster. I finished Tavas Anatolian Teacher Training High School, and attended Department of Foreign Languages Education, METU. While I was studying there, I was interested in sport management because of my obsession with football. Finally, I graduated from METU with two certificates ten years ago. I am carrying on my career in Europe nowadays. I have close friends from different fields there, so I have opportunity of experiencing extraordinary things. As the most fundamental one of them, I have been on Mars with my friends Sepp , Ronaldo, Charles and a technical team in order to realize our project which aims to build a football stadium which has a seating capacity of 1000. We are planning to bring two teams which are finalists of the world cups and their supporter to there as an award. We have been preparing essential background for our dream since we came here. However, this project has a lot of expenses, so we are in opinion of finding important and wealthy sponsors such as Google, Nike etc. I believe that we can succeed it together.
